Every time I see community discourse from those like.... hyper rationalist communities, it just seems like the strangest thing. And Imma put this here because I'm friends with some of them and don't want them to feel bad but whaaaat the fuuuuck sometimes. "Is it rational to not go in the cuddle pile?" "Is it normal to have orgies at your friends house without express persion?" like ??????

It's awkward when someone who follows something says something stupid on a retweet and probably expects you to reply but the you just watch hordes of people you don't drag them over the coals. Like not awkward in a "I feel sorry for you way", just... generally awkward.

It's also annoying to see some examples of infrastructure competition brought up that exists due to rules that force companies to sell redistributable parts of their service.

It often feels like super libertarian types forget the rest of the world exists sometimes. "Free market infrastructure is better and more efficient!
