I'm finally getting ready to change my username on my #linux server. This isn't something I've done before on any linux machine. I'm pretty sure I understand the basics of doing it, but was wondering; any fellow Linux or #bsd admins have any tips on making sure things go smoothly?

Nothing special to worry about. It's a bog-standard /etc/{passwd,shadow} system.
