@PinkCathodeCat I never paid much attention to that aspect myself.

I will admit it was always a little 'odd' to me that I was alone in my support of female metal band members.

I always keep an eye out for them. They bring a dynamic to the bands (and vocals) that can't be matched IMHO.

@kemonine I think a lot of all male bands play with it in aesthetic but can't, because of homophobia, play with it as much as could be done. Have you listened to emilie autumn? Her Gothic lolita style might be up your alley - not metal but in a same sort of sphere.

@PinkCathodeCat indeed I've listened to her before. I have a few albums on the NAS. it has been awhile though. I may have to dig in soon

@kemonine and a Melbourne band you might like is death of art - I have a few of their songs that they haven't put up on Spotify but their latest stuff is good!
