@kiwix, doesn't look like a cost-effective solution.

To be honest, the list of parts makes me think that the idea of that project is not to make "a rapidly deployable wireless mesh network", but to make a "big classy box with a lot of wires to make everyone think that we are doing something serious".

Curious why they put in discrete firewall, switch, server, USB hub, AP when one powerful device could take over the job of all of them at a lower power and size footprint.
