I drive past two 's 4 times a day, and I'd swear they were doing MORE biz than usual yesterday. When there was supposed to be a demanding $15/hr. In the radically liberal bluest state in the nation. I guess they can only afford a living wage of $22/hr in the Denmark franchises. Which is fifteen 2012 dollars, when they started the movement, in 2021 dollars.

It just occurred to me that it wasn't more business they were seeing. They were backed up because they were working with a skeleton crew of scabs because most of their employees WALKED OUT. ✊

It's probably that, with food inflation, McDonald's is a sweet spot in the intersection between quality (they actually have pretty good quality control on their inputs) and price.
