I made a little program to generate "ransom note" text using fancy international symbols like "ฤฐ ๐—บฤ„โ……๐”ผ ๐”ธ ๐”ฉ๐’Šลฆฦฌ๐•ƒ๐Ÿ— แ‘ญ๐—ฅโฒž๐™ถ๊ž…๐™ฐ๐—บ t๐•† ๐”พฦลŠะ„แ’a๐žฃ๐ธ 'แ’๐›ข๐›ฎ๐Ÿ’ฒโŽ”โฉ‹ ลŠโŽ”ฦฌ๐›ฆ' ฦฌ๐ธ๐‘ฟt ๐‘ผเบฃi๐“๐™ถ ๐Ÿก๐˜ˆ๐š—๐˜พฮณ ๐’Š๐š—๐šƒ๐™ดRnโฉœ๐šƒฤฐโฌฏโฒšaโ„’ เดŸ๐˜บแƒฮฒโŽ”โ„“S."

blog post: lahosken.san-francisco.ca.us/n

little program: lahosken.san-francisco.ca.us/c

@lahosken my take from this is - how do I get a .sanfrancisco.ca.us website? Also: awesomeness that this emulates the intention of the original San Francisco font: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/San_Fran

@fluffydotorg Here's what I know:

The folks who managed san-francisco.ca.us domains back when I set this up don't exist now. I don't know the current system.

Sonic.net admins san-francisco.ca.us domains nowadays. When things break, I file a support ticket with them. If you don't have a better place to start looking, you could ask them. I ?guess? they'll point you at some city hall bigwig.

Hesitate to use an email w/that domain: you'll get a ton of phishing mail aimed at schoolteachers.
