Hello!

I've found that wandering.shop agrees with me very well, so I'm making that my primary account. You can find me over there at lakhesis@wandering.shop

Thanks!

Okay, so I stopped being dense for a second and remembered how instances work.

So now I'm following more writers! But in order to post there, I have to switch instances. Just ignore me...

I joined wandering.shop under this username. I guess I should talk writing over there? Does it matter?

In short: how do I Mastodon?

update: I'm not going to finish this draft of the manuscript during November.

I've spent more effort trying to sleep more. It's NaNoSleepMo for me, kind of. But I've been very bad w/my sleep habits for a long time, and it's time to fix it.

I continue to trundle along on the book, though.

One of my favorite things about old school Twitter was having a feed full of , , , and recs... If anyone feels like sharing what's making their eyes and ears happy these days, I'm totally here for that! 📚 🎧 🎬 🎨

I'm still getting a handle on the etiquette for Mastodon but

I'm a writer! I wrote the story and script for a video game a few years ago (www.achrongame.com), and I'm now practicing novels.

My feed will probably involve writing gripes, books I'm reading, boosts, cat pics, bullet journal stuff, and video games.

Logging in this morning and finding out a bunch of writers I follow on the bird site are also over here.

This was published a few weeks ago, so I’m late as usual, but I’m halfway through it and it’s great. Cat Valente is awesome, and hilarious. The Cthulhu mythos, and unknowable horrors from beyond time getting high on eldritch farts.

It may be that I don’t follow nearly the same number of people here as I do on the bird site, but it’s nice here.

I'm hoping the A6 size isn't going to be too small. If I need more space, the Cousin is A5... I can pick one of those up for 2019.

I think Ann Leckie is one of my favorite authors now. The Ancillary Trilogy was fantastic, and I’m loving Provenance so far. mastodon.social/media/v4ZXsnvJ

Just found the Mastodon/Twitter crossposter and now I’m a little bit in love.

I started bullet journaling because I wanted to organize my writing. Eleven months later, I’ve got a daily planner habit, and am going to buy a Hobonichi so I will have room in my writing journal to write.
