#firstcomputer Mine was the Atari XE computer. It came with a book of simple BASIC programs. I spent hours typing them in and watching what happened with delight. It was my first experience with programming.

I think my favourite #mastodon feature is the content warning. It's especially useful for hiding the punchline of your joke.

I am glad that people enjoy Tumblr but I have never been able to understand how it works. What looks like a comment thread under each post is just a bunch of "reposted" notices. Does any conversation occur on it, ir is it just for mute image sharing?
