About 1.5 months into the LibreM laptop and I still like it a lot.

The main downside is that I haven't figured out a way to do 2 external monitors. I'm making do with one external monitor and the laptop screen. Otherwise it's been a really good experience for me and I would recommend it if you can afford it.

@cwebber I’ve been eyeing it for months. Almost ready to smash the buy button. Are you using pureOS? If so, how is it?

@levlaz @cwebber

I've had one for just under a year. I run Debian. All the privacy advantages aside, it's nice having a computer that boots in about five seconds and doesn't slow down over time (unlike every Windows machine I've ever had).

@levlaz I'm running GuixSD, which is running really nicely on it.

I did do the PureOS install and tried it, just to see what it's like. It's basically Debian, set up to go. The LibreM boots into the installer where you just need to enter an encryption passphrase and etc for it, so you don't have to be an experienced GNU/Linux user to get a good setup.

But I wanted Guix, and I'm happy to say GuixSD is working great with no extra effort than doing the Guix install.
