@lifstrand I can see your old toots. It's just that if you don't log in for a while, your home timeline stops being updated to save server resources.

@slipstream THANK YOU! I don't know why I'm having such a hard time figuring out Mastodon, but I am. For example, if Mastodon hadn't sent me an "In your absence…" notice I wouldn't have been able to find your reply. And even so, the only way I could get to it was clicking on the date stamp on that email notice. I will read the introduction you've provided the link for. Thanks! #art #confused

Please note that the part of the "empty timeline" thing was in fact a bug and your timeline should now properly load when you log in again after some time away. :)
