Endless OS is the first Linux distribution to support Flatpak apps from Flathub by default.
Flatpaks (and for example Snaps from Canonical, Ubuntu) are universal solution candidates between all Linux distros for easy and still secure software installation.
Not that installation is not just that already, distro specifically, but this leans towards unification.
