@bthall The difficulty here is that no one really knows which businesses are even keeping track of our information in order to contact and tell them to stop.

@lordbowlich Yeah, but from a biz perspective I'm worried about privacy trolls emerging as a business-bankrupting force.
I think this will lead to more in-house, dumb IT work so biz people can confidently say that they collect nothing. Large bizs would have yet more of an advantage here over little bizs, due to having more resources for documenting info collection and use.
