I'm in a PbP at the moment using the #DeltaGreen rules, but with RPGnets "The Long Stairs" setting and it's going ... dunno.
I like the setting, the other players/the GM seem nice and we had some fun playerdriven setting creation bits, but man, I remember why I don't like percentile games.
Even with skills of 70+, I have only had 1 successful roll so far. Coupled with a very trad "Defense is an Action" and "You only get one action per turn", this feels meh.
(The fact that this is a PbP and thus the pace is slooooooooow compared to a meatspace game doesn't really help. If we were gaming at the table, we'd be in the first hour or so of a game, so much easier to feel like "Ok, whatever, I can't keep rolling that badly all evening.")
Ich hab wieder gewürfelt.
...
Könnt euch denken was passiert ist, oder?

(Wenn es nicht so zach wär aus dieser Würfelapp viele Würfe rauszubekommen würd ich ja echt schaun wie zufällig diese App ist. *grummel*)
@lordminx You goota #FUDGE that shait! Also despite it forcing its own system, the #DeltaGreen setting rules!
@Richard_ermen Eh, Fudge Dice are nice and all, but personally I'd rather have a PbtA version or something.
And what I know of DGs official setting sounds ok, I guess? I mean, it's basically your basic Seeeeeekrit Government Agency thing with Mythos stuff.
@lordminx Ahh, but it is THE secret GA with mythos setting. Also, funny enough, delta green is specifically NOT a government agency. Once you start to delve into it, it can be really good because of the subversions it makes. Also great spy-fiction, if you´re into that sorta stuff.Otherwise, well, if PbtA is your thing, sure, go for it. Anything is better than BRP.
I don't mind failing in more Indie games, where failure generally means "More dramatic stuff happens" (Like PbtA) and is less coupled to a characters personal capabilities, but here it feels much less fun. :/
