I'm in a PbP at the moment using the #DeltaGreen rules, but with RPGnets "The Long Stairs" setting and it's going ... dunno.
I like the setting, the other players/the GM seem nice and we had some fun playerdriven setting creation bits, but man, I remember why I don't like percentile games.
Even with skills of 70+, I have only had 1 successful roll so far. Coupled with a very trad "Defense is an Action" and "You only get one action per turn", this feels meh.
@Richard_ermen Eh, Fudge Dice are nice and all, but personally I'd rather have a PbtA version or something.
And what I know of DGs official setting sounds ok, I guess? I mean, it's basically your basic Seeeeeekrit Government Agency thing with Mythos stuff.
@lordminx Ahh, but it is THE secret GA with mythos setting. Also, funny enough, delta green is specifically NOT a government agency. Once you start to delve into it, it can be really good because of the subversions it makes. Also great spy-fiction, if you´re into that sorta stuff.Otherwise, well, if PbtA is your thing, sure, go for it. Anything is better than BRP.
