A gaming phenomenon that I genuinely do not understand:
A game gets released on PC. A person buys and plays it Then it gets a console port, and the same person excitedly awaits the release of the port so they can buy it again and play it on that console.

@lucasrizoli I guess it makes some sense for handheld consoles. "Cool, now I can play it while waiting on line at the post office"

@CarlMuckenhoupt, TBH, I notice this buy-and-play-on-many-platforms stuff when it first comes out on console, then on PC. In which case, there may be added benefits in terms of performance, hacking/modding.

I dunno, man: games can barely keep me interested for beyond a dozen hours or so, so I should not pretend to speak for those who would play hundreds—twice.
