Today's Common Lisp Project of the Day is CLAWK.
This library provides a DSL for text processing in a way as AWK does. For those who aren't familiar with it, AWK is a language for text processing.

From the last (#Lisp) presentation slides I've seen, I have to especially mention Marco Heisig. Writing about the CLOS MOP, he additionally demonstrates an outstanding grasp of the cultural and artistic background.

Going a bit overboard with a layer dedicated to compose sequences.
So far, I've been optimizing for familiarity with my other keyboard. In the future, I think I'll play with placing commonly used symbols in more ergonomic places. E.g., ( as Raise+J as well as keys for commonly used compose sequences.
I've written some comments about the layout I'm using on my recent Planck EZ keyboard (by @ErgoDoxEZ@twitter.com) https://configure.ergodox-ez.com/planck-ez/layouts/9wWdK/latest/0 Click "Play layout tour" to see them. (Best viewed on a large screen, but you can request the desktop site on a phone if you want.)

I'm at 111 pages and 3 programming libraries right now, and more will come. It seems I'll reach 150 pages, and there's still a research paper that I want to write about integrating multiple condition systems. Welp.
This has grown in scope rather massively. Not necessarily a bad thing, now that most of it is already done.
Mozilla Hubs is a really simple 3D chatroom that I've started seeing meetups use. It's a nice model: it works with both VR headsets and browsers!
#ELS2020 #COVID19 update: the event will happen on April 27-28 as originally planned, but online, and free for everyone. Instructions for joining will be provided on the website as soon as possible. #Lisp
I am sorry to confirm the passing of my colleague John Conway. An incomparable mathematician, a pleasant neighbor, and an excellent coffee acquaintance.
His passing was sudden (fever started only Wednesday morning). Part of coronavirus's hard toll in New Jersey.
Smug Lisp weenie / passionate about double bass and jazz / mathematician-wannabe. 我会说一点儿普通话 kaj mi iam parolis Esperanton flue.
