@mala I keep coming back to that proposal every once in a while. I've been thinking about how IPFS is almost-but-not-quite perfect for implementing IM2000. What was the context of the discussion that reminded you of it?

@mala it sounds a little like a proposal for people who thought the problem with email was that there was too much reader privacy

@mala That is pretty cool. Thinking about it through comptemporary tech is fun, especially if one were trying to move to an anonymous, federated user net *from* #IM2000.
