@sonya @maiki not sure -- more people in general, more people bringing their snark from the birdsite, that ambiguity about whether this a safe space to vent about the outgroup, even when your outgroup might already be here...

I wanted to share that I am waiting for this pattern of behavior to set in where we treat #ActivityPub as email, and it suddenly makes sense of #Mastodon instances to pop up at the same rate for orgs and individuals.

Because *I* need contextual communities, and I think that is still settling in the cement. And I don't think we can't get there until we bring in a lot more folks, as much as that sucks. ^_^
