If you have the URL for a toot on another instance you can add it to the search bar on your home instance (above the compose field) to get your local interactions (boost, reply etc.)

@maloki Interesting.. I can't say I share Facebook posts (although, in the app, the share button gives you a copy link option).
I never use the Twitter website, so I didn't know that was "common practice". I assumed it was under the (...) button, and assumed wrong.
