Hey, if you see this message and wish to engage, there is something broken on your server/installation of Mastodon, so we in the rest of the fediverse can't actually accept your follow requests because we aren't receiving them. We can't see any of your replies, which we should.
You have to convince your server admin (Jester) that it's important to you that it gets fixed. There's nothing anyone outside can do.
I leave it in your capable hands.

@seanl I'm just trying to not dismiss everyone who end up going there. But giving them a chance, by offering some facts.
@amylsacks @maloki And The Jester appears to be so dumb they think blocking Russian IP addresses will prevent that. Because apparently Russian moles are too stupid to use VPNs, vhosts, or compromised machines.
No entertaining the possibility that if you're Russian you could be an average citizen who wants to talk politics, but disguises your name, IP, etc. for your own protection.
I imagine something out of Serling's Maple Street the first time someone there has an unpopular opinion on any subject, no matter how minor.
@amylsacks @seanl hey, can you leave me out of this? My post specifically to not vilify anyone, and give the users over there a chance to make a decision.

@maloki Oh yeah, this is the first account I made, but I made an effort to get into CoSo since there was a lot of buzz about it -- now it's the wrong kind of buzz
