Starting to practice using favorites only for bookmarks. But I still want to use it as a hi, I see you. So I'll probably fav, and later unfav.

If you've seen me fav "old" messages today is because I was unfaving and changing my mind.

Fav is for the other person. Bookmark is for you.

I don't think fav + bookmark is the way to go. But we'll see where it ends up.

@maloki I don't actually use them as bookmarks. I use it entirely as a way to give feedback to others. I see the argument for it though.

I use them as both, though with what I favorite it seems to be predominantly bookmark. (I don't know how to spell squew)

Anyways, it's on the list of subjects to thoroughly research before we accept it.

I not saying it is a bad idea, I'm just talking about the work.

@maloki I wish there were a separate "this resonates with me and I want the world to know this" button vs "I would like to subscribe to this thread button" vs "I acknowledge that you said a thing" button.

(Maybe the first button is boost. But still.)
