It has been a long morning, but worth it.

Spent hours in the cafe after the run chatting with parkrun tourists

One slow train, and two coaches (one of which went on a train) I've arrived early enough to have time to try the local McCoffee

Next stop Volksgarten parkrun, ok it is not literally the next stop, Bloxwich is ... but eventually I should get to Düsseldorf

Most people don't use the parkrun selfie frame to take selfies, but then I'm not most people.

Yesterday I completed Clifton parkrun for the second time, but I almost got myself a as I forgot my barcode.

Tomorrow I plan to make my 2nd visit to Clifton ; my first was during the snowpocalypse of March 2018 when it was the only one within 100 or so miles still running.

I did some volunteering at my local junior parkrun this morning, first some marshalling and then a sprint to the finish line for some barcode scanning.

Parkrun finished in just over 27 minutes, now time for some drinking with Bull Moon H3

Today, for a change, I'm going to run at Walsall Arboretum .

It will be my 107th time here, but only my 4th this year.

I've booked my tickets now, and tempting as it would be to continue heading East I can't really justify the expense at the moment.

I'm hoping to visit Düsseldorf's Volksgarten on the 3rd of October; trying to decided if I should come straight home or travel back via another parkrun?

That was quite a challenging course at Seven Valley of Country , awaiting my official time but I think I managed sub 30, just about.

It will also be my first event number 9, which might come in handy if I ever decided to chase the Wilson Index

Tomorrow I hope to take my first visit to Severn Valley Country , for my 191st parkrun and my 53th different event.

The first ten miles went quite well, the last three were mostly painful. Provisional chip time 2:21'07

Tomorrow I will be tail-walking at Bedworth in the final day of my taper.
