Note to self, don’t touch your nose after touching the cutting board you chopped up jalapeños on 🔥

If a witch doctor accidentally curses himself and you get a laugh out of it, is that shaman-freude?

You MUST watch the promo video for this game. It's hilarious.

Just as a heads-up, don’t use PMs/DMs on Mastodon, and if you have to never share any private information.

Admins of sending and receiving instances can read those, as there is no end-to-end encryption. Even if you trust the admins, instance ownership could change or hackers or government could get in.

Use different tools designed specifically for this.

So there's been some talk lately, especially over on the bird site, about the practice of .

I'll try to keep this short.

If you've been for long enough to point out others' mistakes, you've been doing it long enough to know that everyone makes those mistakes.

On any project I'm a part of, if I catch you making fun of someone else's code, you and I will have A Talk. The expectation? Either stop... or leave.

Don't cut people down when you can build them up.

Anybody else looking at buying "Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes" on Switch? Seems like a heck of a party game!

Oh yeah -- I'm also currently trying to , which has been amazing so far!

Because of that, I've recently developed a love for anime. Right now I'm watching My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan, and Stein's Gate, but Death Note is still my favorite.

I've got other hobbies I dip into from time to time, as well. Those include:
- woodworking
- candy making
- DIY home improvement
- data science

Historically, I don't write a ton of original toots. When I do, though, you can expect:
- light shitposting
- awful puns
- requests for your opinions/feedback
- humor, ranging from dry to absurd
- stuff about tech culture
- me offering to help people with code/tech issues/job advice

Looking forward to being part of the community!

(TL;DR Read the bio in my profile)

Outside work, I spend most of my time with my lovely wife and two 🐕. We enjoy nice food (cooking or out), fast cars, 🕹️🎮, and general 🤓ery.

In my day job, I write software that helps outpatient ⚕️ facilities be smarter and more efficient! We're constantly 👀 for new ways to reduce wait times and make the whole healthcare process more pleasant for everyone.

Having just joined Mastodon, seeing the word "toot" being used so often and so matter-of-factly, my inner 8-year-old may soon explode from all the juvenile giggling I've had to hold back.

(Heh. Toot.)
