Even if you don't like bike-racing the TV coverage of @letour is a great way to "virtually visit" a country. The #Danish country looks familiar - to a resident of East Anglia in the UK. The people too: an echo from many centuries of movement & settlement. I haven't traced my 'roots' in DK through my mum's side of the family Esbjerg & Adelby (now suburb of Flensburg, DE). Seeing the beautiful scenery makes me want to make another visit/tour to do so.

This is Alan. Alan ended his own life on 7th June 1954. He laced an apple with cyanide and ate a bite from it. He did this because the British government chemically castrated, humiliated and prosecuted him for being gay.
Alan is the reason why a chunk is bitten out of the Apple logo…in honour of Alan Turing.
Ok so what did he do? He invented computer science and using his first designs he decrypted the Enigma code - the machine base encryption that the Nazis and the German military used to communicate secret commands to each other in world war 2 - and hence he both saved millions of lives and brought us into the modern age of computing.
Pride month isn’t just about dancing on floats in gold hot pants or flying a rainbow flag. It’s about remembering that everyone has a right to be happy, love who they want to love, and recognise the outstanding contribution that everyone can make in a society free of fear or prejudice.

Windy, sunny excellent washing/drying day.
Which got me to thinking - as you do - how do they manage for washing in space? They're up there for weeks-months in the #ISS . Do they save up their socks&pants? Do they wash it? Can you do that in zero-g? Washing line outside in space?
Saw the first humming bird hawk moth of the year busy buzzing around the lavender. Don't see to many yet always a treat.

#hunderunde Es dauert nicht lange mehr bis die Seerosen blühen.
Spent the day cleaning the mould out of the bathroom grouting.
One thing of which I am certain is that when the Earth is a blasted, wasted ball of smoking rock & the animals and we humans are long gone, black mould will be hanging on there.

Having walked through #Brigg market I am still trying to get out Oasis's "Wonderwall" sung in V-flat major out of my head - the mystery busker has struck again!
