But tbf 37signals is a kind of 1% organisation that might be able to do self managed infrastructure well.

Most orgs were shit at infra in c.2008 when cloud started and most orgs would be even shitter at infra now. 💩

So most orgs that try cloud repatriation will fail spectacularly, imo.
