@vasilis shouldn’t be that complex, JS is capable of sending keyboard events

🔥 I've set up this subtle box-shadow transition (inside to the outside) to animate between :hover and :focus

@timsev oh definitely, been trying to find an approach that gets acceptable results for nebulas but painting gaseous volumes is HARD

@timsev realism wasn’t a main goal in this scene, more like Guardians of the Galaxy scenery. Thanks for the feedback! This’ll help for the next piece

@timsev it depicts a ship shooting through a nebula with a galaxy rising up from behind a planet. All handbrushed in Affinity Photo though, no stock.

Fuck it, let’s share our creative work right here and now on Mastodon for feedback with . Be brutally honest, speak your mind on what you think can improve. Mastodon can be that honest place we need to improve our work. No “nice colors” or “amazeballs”: actual solid feedback. I’ll kick off.

Sharing design work that you’re not all too confident about with the client but they just love it feels kind of surreal.

"To help some of the newcomers make connections: name 5-8 things that interest you but aren't in your profile, as tags so they are searchable. Then boost this post or repeat its instructions so others know to do the same."

@bastianallgeier it all depends on how the larger public adopts Mastodon. Unfortunately, that may also very well be the very source of Twitter’s woes.

If you need outrun or space themed artwork, hit me up! I also do branding and web design / development work! I keep a fairly recent portfolio right here -> instagram.com/pickaxedigital

Oh, so I'm starting to collect a list of people who might be interested in a native Mac tootclient...

Feel free to toot'n'boost this.

@chartier brands is kind of a vague term as well. I know some artists who are very specific in how they present themselves online, i.e. they pose and speak as a brand. Should they too be discouraged from getting on Mastodon?

Pet peeve: people talking about how to create design systems in Product. You don’t make them *in* a tool, you make them *with* a tool. Design systems transcend any one tool (or so they should)

Apparently hashtagging what you’re about is a thing, so here goes: get in touch if you’re into
