I've been thinking a lot about this drawing

And one place my mind went was "what if Magical Girl Ferris met Xenia" and so I'm imagining a short comic where Magical Girl Ferris appears before Xenia and announces she's going to save her and then proceeds to cheerfully wreck all of Xenia's shelving and workspace with her clumsy but very energetic magical powers while Xenia in tears begs for her to stop helping. This doesn't need to exist, I just want you to imagine it does
It's a metaphor!
Magical Girl Ferris is beloved and appreciated by all she meets, except Xenia and her roommate Tux who every time Magical Girl Ferris shows up at their place only chaos and comedic destruction result
@mcc The “Pizza Night” episode was one of the only times the audience sees Tux actually cry.
@mcc every now and then when Tux makes Pizza cheese drips off in the oven, burns, and sets off the smoke detector. So Ferris helpfully starts remodeling their kitchen as a surprise
@mcc Manic Girl Ferris more like
@mcc blazingly fast
@mcc I used to tell people rust has "immediate mode garbage collection" and I'm struggling to comprehend how that would anthropomorphize.
@mcc Tux and Xenia had all their broken code neatly organised (by colour). Magical Girl Ferris comes along and wrecks everything by trying to make even one line of code work correctly.
@mcc it's a bit of an odd metaphor, considering I personally have encountered multiple bits of Linux kernel code that knowingly corrupt data because writing the appropriate error handling in C is too hard. This is in such unimportant code as block drivers and filesystem drivers. And looking at kernel code is not something I do particularly often.
@mcc okay turns out i'm not into the static prose, so I took out Inform and something will be here: https://code.oreolek.me/oreolek/ferris-the-magical-girl
…eventually
@mcc Huh. All I could think was "her real eyes are on the shoulders"
