I finished my article about dockerizing Kafka and Zookeeper, along with making my chat app finally usable.

I just made an article about Dockerizing Apache Kafka and Zookeeper if anyone is interested.

Let me know what you think, and thanks everyone!

I just posted a second Docker tutorial that was written for humans if anyone is interested.

Let me know if it sucks. Thanks everyone.

@rizele
Well hey, it was good talking to you. I'm getting ready to crash for the nice.
I was looking at your instance and it seems pretty cool. I've been meaning to move off the main instance for a while. Is there plenty of programming chatter over there?

Humble bundle has a good deal on some functional programming books right now. I write python functionally but I think monads and monoids would make me cry lol.

I just wrote a tutorial on some really basic Docker commands and was wanting to see if a few people could come check it out.
I don't have ads or any crap like that.
If you could let me know where I screwed up, that would be awesome. If you want a decent tutorial on getting started with python in containers, it's probably also a good thing to check out. Thanks everyone!

So where would I get started in programming and IOT? I see the Particle series of devices and those look cool enough, but what can I actually make? I'm a senior developer so I have plenty of programming xp and I've dealt with things like measuring voltages to determine humidity and all that, but what would I actually "do" as a IOT dev? For background, I prefer back end development, databases, message queues, etc. Thanks everyone!

is there a way change the layout or theme in this thing?

I don't want to do big data stuff or AI, what cutting edge thing is there to do for a job?

Is there a city builder game that I can play forever and never beat?
