I feel like more people should understand that saying you don’t know something is a way to gain credibility, not lose it.

At least within a healthy society / culture / organisation / group.


This is so dependant on age and gender and probably race (this lies outside my lived experience). Being able to cop to not knowing things without having your entire credibility thrown into question is a privilege. It shouldn't be that way. I wish the truth in your words was universally applicable.
