If you store your projects in ~/src/ then this is how you give yourself the gift of per-project shell history: https://gist.github.com/mhoye/469ed97d7887b451da5d45b87acb53f5
Note to everyone using Wikipedia & Wikimedia Commons' XML data dumps -- the format will be changing slightly starting February 1, including additional data slots for pages that contain them. This may cause problems with some parsing libraries, so please check out the docs to prepare for the change!
@emma I'm not sure if I was supposed to giggle. But I giggled.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. I am thankful for your presence in my life.
There is no such thing as "nacho cheese", but clearly any cheese put on a nacho _becomes_ nacho cheese, so at any given moment you can fundamentally change the global understanding of nacho cheese by putting any arbitrary cheese on any arbitrary nacho. Brie? Paneer? Limburger? Cottage? There are no rules here. I have given you a new semiotic superpower. In the scope of all things "nacho" and "cheese" you are unstoppable, go forth and rend this narrow tex-mex world from its foundations.
I'm writing this fellowship personal statement about activism, and it is weird as hell boasting about myself when Everything I do is background and meant to Not be eye catching. Like medics spend weeks ahead of time just planning and always staying out of the limelight. We are there outside the prison for medical help for 12 hour shifts. We set up hand washing stations at centers where the activists will be that have no sinks and soap. We do boring shit. It feels weird to boast about it
@mhoye in 2559 we still won't have good enough Unicode support to replace (c) with an actual copyright sign; very dismal portrayal of the future
