My dad was diagnosed with ALS when I was young & just like Hawking was told he only had a few years. At the time Stephen had lived decades longer than anyone expected. You have no idea the amount of hope he gave a little scared boy just by living.
@USBloveDog I do too. It can go very slow or very fast.
@minego I hope this means my aunt still has plenty of years left.
