Just finished watching 'The Mitchells vs. the Machines' and I enjoyed it a lot, the art is outstanding and it's full of little jokes and details that poke at the terrible practices we currently see in the tech world; overall weird movie, the good kind of weird.

There's also 'lite-xl' which is lite with a bit more pre-packaged amd more user friendly, I think algo better font rendering.

Since Sublime is not (yet) on arm, and Builder doesn't really tick all my boxes (yet), for the I started giving lite another go and I think I'm growing fond of it, check it out github.com/rxi/lite

I like the new #kdenlive 21.04! I just finished the edit of a new video tutorial with it (about 'shading', I'll post it later today) and the new auto-generated subtitle feature with speech recognition saves me 2h of work! (and surprisingly this one recognise my heavy French accent with a high percentage of success). Such a typing burden I did weekly to do less... Thanks again devs! And new keyframe actions are also lovely to use. 💜

I was thinking it would be cool to make a "Text Editor Bundler" sort of website where you choose Sublime, Vim, whatever is your preferred choice, choose the plugins you want and at the end provides you a zip with everything set-up so you can install it in a machine; useful for when you don't have internet access on your work machine, for example. (You download the zip and transfer it somehow to the workstation).

I've a question, the idea resembles what GDocs does with history on their documents and how would you store/track those changes in a (or..?):
A) A table that tracks the changes specifically ?
B) A table that stores the document each version as a whole and then do `diff` or similar for the front-end?
C) Using something like github.com/attic-labs/noms (git-like database)
D) ??

THE ULTIMATE BATTLE

Can anyone think of reasons why *not* to use a Raspberry Pi (4) as a NAS? (Either through USB3 or a HAT with e/sata)

This new feature release features substantial interfaces updates to support half-screen and phone displays, search engine updates, and many interface, performance, translation and server compatibility updates and fixes.

Not really fixes but, for Builder, installing it from pacman instead of Flatpak did the trick, for Epiphany, netiher pacman nor flatpak did work, but after changing to the unsatble branch (pacman's) and upgrading, it does work nicely now :)

Also GNOME 40 looks nice, the top-bar has increased height though, it will take a bit of getting used, nothing major really.
