Just some screenshots of Newsflash a feed reader running on the #Pinephone
Newsflash is a modern feed reader written in Rust and using GTK3. It scales well for mobile screens, is extremely feature rich, looks really good and loads relatively fast but still crashes a lot while adding feeds. Just try it out yourself if you like what you see :D
I sadly couldn't find it's creator on the Fediverse so I guess you can check out his Gitlab for more. https://gitlab.com/JanGernert

BTW, we have a few beginner-friendly issues which make for a great introduction into the world of #opensource 😎
So apparently TalkTalk have a (theoretically Ofcom enforced) policy of 30 days cancellation fee which is nowhere to be seen in their help page: https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Articles/Cancel-your-TalkTalk-service/ta-p/2204737
This means I'll be paying an extra month of a service I can't use, bloody brilliant.
Hi all, Geary is looking for a co-maintainer!
@mjog doesn't have enough time to to do it all by themselves any more, and so is looking for a hand in taking care of day-to-day tasks such as bug triaging and fixing, and working on improving the front-end side of the app in particular.
If you're interested, take a look at the issue tracker, and pitch on in!
If you have any questions, please thread them below or get in touch with @mjog 👇
