Hey @lizthegrey@twitter.com. What would be the best approach to build an error budget burndown chart for calendar window SLO? Do you have any examples?

Switched from Rubymine to spacemacs.org/ . works fine for Mac OS, but had problem with Linux setup to Copy/Paste text. It is but it supports key bindings.

Built years ago a tool to follow the url redirects. broolik.ml/ Still use for links from Twitter or url shortners. Deployed to Heroku so it is a bit slow. In first version used even TRUE browser redirection, but it required more memory - downgraded to small ruby script.

There are 2 options for using CDP instead of WebDriver in Application: apparition and cuprite.

Tried to switch to one of them, generates a lot of errors and warnings.

Is it worth migrating to them today? But what the difference between them?

I've just been reminded: I often forgot the constraints most people feel (and work around) with existing web hosting services! By which I include Medium and YouTube.

Running my own homeserver really illustrates to me how trivial all these webservices really are. They're very much pretty facades upon almost nothing!

Silicon Valley has done nothing to deserve your worship.

Tomorrow is Prime Day. Instead of buying directly from Amazon, please consider:

1. Googling the business you find on Amazon to buy from them directly.

2. Paying full price (if you can) so we can keep the small businesses we know and love going, through this hell of a year.

Turns out, @codeberg provides us with a feature letting us present our own static HTML website on <username>.codeberg.page

All you have to do is to create a repository called "pages" containing all your website files. Done!

So I've tried this out and made a Hello World page: pixelcode.codeberg.page

Thank you so much, @codeberg! This is a feature I always wanted to have 👍❤️

In @ShopifyEng@twitter.com every week I learned something new in local events. It is like visit a Ruby/Programming conference, but for free and during working hours. Today was a super nice talk from @Love2Code@twitter.com about MicroJit prototype.

There are too many website visitors unknowingly giving up their rights and missing other important legal notices from a company because they don't want to deal with ugly and hard-to-read privacy pages. Here's what web designers can do to help: buff.ly/3iF6MHM @smashingmag@twitter.com
