Aye. The curse of our people is black and white thinking. Because "Use Tor; use Signal" is imperfect it is therefore awful.
The argument that people shouldn't use #Tor or #Signal without reading a treatise on the subject is akin to the argument some motorcyclists make against wearing safety gear: You'll take more risks because you think the helmet (or Moxie) protects you. Therefore protecting yourself is bad. It's just silly.
