After manipulating numbers , usage of select data sets ,changing base line year and adding mirch masala the G.D.P growth rate of #India is at 4.2
Safe to assume that in reality GDP is growing at 2.5 - 3.0 %
Of course the government will blame NEHRU and my NEIGHBOR'S CAT for the poor economy.
@moonlighting I'm going to the court if the cat is involved though. Oh wait!
On a serious note, what are the ways to manipulate GDP growth calculation. I'm just curious because I'm trying to study about GDP spending on national matters.
@ajeeshrp7 Many ways , you could read this link to get an idea.
@moonlighting Considering there was a difference of 2% jump the current GDP could be as low as 2%.
At 7% GDP think the government contribution is around 2%. Which would be mean that the growth of GDP outside of the government would be less than
0.5% as there haven't been any significant drop in gov spending.
@Deepsealioness @IndiasMuslims @vidyut
@Vishsai Yes that could very well be the truth.If we take out gov spending the numbers seem even more pathetic.
