Don't like ? Want to avoid /#OpenBSD and commercial OS?

Fork your own distro. Seriously.

Every successful Linux distribution started with some person deciding to fork. That person invested time or money in community, and built their distro into success.

Red Hat is not magic. They've just been at this a long time.

If you do fork a non-systemd Linux based on my recommendation--if I've inspired you--feel free to call it Lucix.

@mwlucas ...or have a look at devuan.org/ and find ways to participate in their work.

Lots of problems will be coming up as applications begin to rely on systemd infrastructure for their functionality.

@mwlucas @galaxis keep on eye on what openbsd and freebsd are doing. We've been fighting those problems for years now.

@mwlucas maybe, if we insist that it is pronounced systemd/GNU/Linux, we can annoy distros into abandoning systemd?

@mwlucas
d'accord, mais il y a quelques "forkes". Je suis très jolie avec MX-16 (sans systemd) ;-)

@mwlucas I was a Slackware user for a while after Debian made the switch. Recently switched to Void for a little more control and libressl. Well, for the one machine that isn't OpenBSD.
