It explains how to connect Toolbox to Flatpak's Visual Studio Code in a complete a seamless way, with all functional extensions.
I really should've come across that article earlier, it would have saved me from trying a lot of half and weird solutions.
Which leads me to think that perhaps there should be a portal for thumbnailers, since there are not a few applications that would benefit from this. It would also help Totem to be a Flatpak, and therefore be easily replaceable by any other application if the user doesn't like it.
Then apps like Totem or Evince must clearly come as "part of the system", since otherwise a valuable functionality is lost: the thumbnailer
At first I thought that all the apps that were pre-installed in the GNOME OS image would be the ones that should come as part of the system, but then apps like Boxes work better in Flatpak than as "part of the system".
@bilelmoussaoui Just going to see if I can update all the gnome games. Right now I'm with Nibbles
Aaaand updated :D
Oh, 'cause Fedora Flatpak repo has the 3.38.0 version, and Flathub has the 3.36.0
Well, let's see if we can contribute to update it on Flathub :D
@glimpse Why not just "Glimpse"? "Glimpse Image Editor" is too long and gets cropped on GNOME
GtkSourceView5 bindings for Rust in a pretty decent shape.
Wow, I didn't know it was listed as an app idea 😮
Just to clarify in case someone misunderstood... The app isn't mine, it's developed by gl-lom, Mufeed Ali and Rafael Mardojai 😅
I just shared that it was already available on Flathub, since Rafael only shared this on birdsite
(I'm dying inside)
@brainblasted I think that Solanum would be cool with a circular window, don't you think? 😜
Sent from Tootle xd The order for the screenshots in inverted 🤔️
