Next time I probably let a professional do the repairing of my phone so it's not destroyed and unusable after. DIY is fine but only to a certain extent, imho.
Back in Berlin.

What is writing? Putting images and emotions into the reader’s head.
Was ist Schreiben? Bilder und Emotionen in den Kopf des Lesers setzen.
You know you were totally zoomed in when after it's done you wonder how you did what you just did. I had that when I wrote the landing page of my book (PARADISE: https://paradisebook.net) yesterday and when I had practiced voicing a script some time ago. It's a bit of a miracle for me but I like the immersion of being in the moment a lot.
But what if you decided to keep your cool and not be angry at all? All the aggregated anger would not exist and at the end of your day, you would say: „A lot of unfavorable little things happened but at least I didn’t give them more attention than I should have. So, what’s for dinner tonight?“
Control how you react and then continue unimpressed.
That’s the practical path to happiness.
So, these little situations can be part of your day. Sometimes they don’t happen at all but sometimes they occur altogether.
If you decide to be angry then that’s how you want to design your day. Every angry situation makes you even angrier and at the end of the day you say: „WHAT A SHITTY DAY!“ Happiness and you are no buddies at all then.
Then it’s fair to say: Don’t get upset about the little accidents. Three examples:
1. Your plane is late? Swallow it.
2. You bumped your head against the table when you picked up a piece of paper? Rub your head and continue working.
3. You missed the bus and now you’ll be late for an important meeting? Call him/her and say you’ll be late - there’s no need to be angry because does anger help you get the bus back or make you be on time?
THE PRACTICAL PATH TO HAPPINESS
So, happiness is all mystical, magical and intangible. It’s super relative and individual what you understand as happiness. So, there’s no THE HAPPINESS.
But let’s be logical, rational and a little bit mathematical.
Do you believe that if little pieces aggregate to something bigger that this bigger thing can have a bigger impact than the little pieces on their own?
ICYMI, this is a great podcast interview with @Gargron about Mastodon: https://softwareengineeringdaily.com/2018/04/12/mastodon-federated-social-network-with-eugen-rochko/
If you're unsure whether you're a manager type of person or a more of a maker, I recommend you give this a read: http://paulgraham.com/makersschedule.html - see also the quote I highlighted in the screenshot
Personally, I knew before that I tend to be more a maker person. The article confirmed my feeling with a solid explanation. It's good to know what kind of person you are :P

🧝♀️ Harmony ✅ checklist
🤔 Think it.
👄 Say it.
🏃♂️ Do it.
Think: I want to travel Africa.
Say: I’ll start with visiting Madagascar.
Do: Go to Madagascar (in September 2018 I’ll be there)
The harmony checklist is inspired by Mahatma Gandhi’s saying: „Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.“
Correction. It needs to be: "As with writing I'm reading a text..."
