I wonder what's happened in the last couple of years to get the Evangelical Anti-New-Age movement all riled up for a second round. Most people think the New Age is buried with the 1980s.
I mean, I know *I've* felt extremely drawn toward the 1970s New Age over the last five years, but, I'm always fascinated to ask what's going on in the wider world that might be causing this sense.
*Something* is happening but I don't know what it is.
If you poke around inside the New Age Movement and go looking for its secret leaders - and you don't have to dig very far at all - you'll find one of those leaders is Jesus of Nazareth
and meeting THAT guy can be a VERY traumatic experience for a lot of Christians.
Traumatic enough that they would literally rather blow up the world with nuclear weapons than face him, if it came to that.
And they'd really think they'd be saving the world from Satan.
It's a heckuva thing.
@natecull ...Man, sometimes I forget just how different some peoples worlds are. Here's an entire vast cultural conflict, and I don't believe in any of it. What a trip. :/
@natecull sanatana dharma started spreading out from india aprox 4000-6000 years ago. and apparently its actualy hitting the us now. That little thing in the 1970s was just a preminitionof whats to come. Same say when its covered the world the satya yuga will start but i dont know
@natecull I guess you could call it the old age enlightenment but its really more lie the eternal (sanatan) age, that just had different stages
