Hackers Are Breaking Directly Into Telecom Companies to Take Over Customer Phone Numbers
@ncrypt Yeah this has been a thing for some time, and it still is a very viable vector.
The article references crypto theft. Anyone serious about cryptos (to the tune of millions) really shouldn't be messing about with those wallets on a mobile... They know it, it's like rule one if you are all in on cryptos, so that is almost entirely their own fault... Still mobiles are the most prized possession these days, I mean, I know scores of people who don't even own a computer, just a handset. I even met someone the other day who has never (I mean never) actually used facebook other than on mobile... O_o Consider how ubiquitous handsets are where there is a population that has never even seen the proper website of the apps they use...
I mean, not that I have machines but if I did I would probably trade 10 pwnd machines to a handset...
@ncrypt Thats without even knows QoC in them... :/
