NeedCoolerShoes now has social media!!!
What is it, you may ask? Well, NeedCoolerShoes is a powerful but user friendly Minecraft skin editor / gallery.
It is a restoration of an old site: Miners Need Cool Shoes, which one day mysteriously vanished from the internet...
Miners Need Cool Shoes went down in January of 2023.
With it, 10 years worth of community made skins were lost forever. Efforts were made to contact the original developers, but he never responded.
The NeedCoolerShoes project was started by @moxvallix in April of that year.
The project aims not just to restore the editor, but to improve upon it, and give it the love it much deserves, after many years of neglect...
Over the (almost) two years of NeedCoolerShoes' development, it has garnered a small but dedicated community, and over 11k skins have been uploaded to the site!
