Got my phone back. We'll see if replacing battery fixed the problem. Now I have to reinstall and configure everything, because I did full reset + stock flash before leaving it in their hands 😬

I really wish there was a #mastodon plugin that could on-the-fly translate toots of a different language, allowing me to switch between "original" and "translated".
Maturity is when you realize that not everyone is a basement dwelling nerd interested in installing linux on their toaster.
It's cool if that's what you dig, just stop shoving it down other people's throat with your false shitty sense of technological superiority.
I just got shat on because I said I don't see a good use case for installing linux on my router and that creating a complicated architecture for 10 devices in 50m2 flat and running a custom DNS server with DHCP to have nice labels for your devices in router's admin panel is just a silly waste of time and effort.
I need new friends.
#vr guys, what you think about creating a virtual space that works on #blockchain technology? We would fill the chain with simple commands which create/update/destroy a matter in #metaverse void. This would allow an interesting estate system inside the cyberspace, where people who build stuff are owners. They can sell it, exchange it, modify and destroy. At the same time the matter of the universe would be the currency.

From time to time I realize how bitter I am about my life so far and people around me. I don't think that's a good thing but at the same time I feel there's a lot to be bitter about. It wasn't exactly a peachy smooth sailing ride almost all of my friends enjoyed.
Incidentally, both are from that fascinating kind of people who you could drop anywhere on the planet and they'd still feel at home. The kind of people you could drink with in a sleazy bar and then dress up and go to a fancy party in tuxedis and they wouldn't skip a beat.
There are two friends in my life that I look at and I think "This. This is exactly the kind of person I'd like to be". I'm working hard toward this goal but it still feels like it's light-years away.
I'm weary of managing expectations of people who's opinion I no longer particularly care about anymore.
Every time my fiancee insists on us having a Catholic wedding in church I think of this scene
