A friend has a cat named MIDI, and I submit for consideration that this is the cutest name for a cat.
@dog my family always talked about "WiFi" and "iPod" as possible cat names, but we never ended up putting that into practice
@dog do they also have pets named "sed" and "grep" because if not that's a missed opportunity
