to be clear I don't think the people who MAKE the show hate Star Trek, but the show itself evinces hatred by virtue of structuring its humor around how the ideals of Star Fleet couldn't actually suck and everyone must be kinda miserable secretly

Star Trek: The Lower Decks is abysmal. I can forgive not being funny, but it clearly hates Star Trek as a concept that and fuckin sucks

although a lot of DS1 versus DS3 has to do with DS1 blazing trails... DS3 is really magnificent, and I think it has more fight quality by volume

in the end my personal ranking is Sek > DS1 > DS3 > BB > DS2
