It is really satisfying to dig out an ingrown hair, especially when it turns out to be, like, twice as long as you expected.

I just found out about the term “soy boy” today, and now I’m even happier that I registered a .soy address for myself earlier this year.

I’ve been thinking a lot about gender recently, which (me being me) means I’ve been reading a lot about gender recently, and I was surprised to learn that the vast majority of folks who identify as genderqueer these days are AFAB.

(I don’t have any sort of thesis regarding this; it just surprised me.)

Also, I already quit Facebook (only miss the photos and events) and Instagram alone doesn’t include enough of the people I want to stay in contact with (or at least stay mutually-aware with).

Things I would legitimately miss if I left birdsite altogether: #rollerderby Twitter, many individual journalists, local connections, learning from #blm and #queerpoc voices, many specific funny-gimmick accounts

Taking a break from the bird site today and remembered “oh, yeah, Mastodon!”

I watched the third episode of American Gods just before bed the other night. Around 3 am, a storm blew through as I slept.

The result is I had an EXTREMELY HOT dream about being fucked by a djinn. Good lord. 🍑🍆🔥
