but I flatly agree with the first sentence, for what that's worth ^_^
(well, okay, to clarify: 'you' in the SINGULAR sense is what I'm addressing, one individual can basically do fuck all about the larger problems for the most part -- but 'you' in a collective sense, THAT I do agree with -- people can't just want things to be better, people have to be willing to MAKE them better)
@sydneyfalk When I wrote that I was mostly thinking about me and my tendency to "hope that something better comes along" rather than doing anything to improve my situation. ;)
@noelle @sydneyfalk yes, accurate and healthy locus of control + sense of agency are super important individually and sometimes General Falk forgets that in the strategic view of things :pppppp
