@tinysubversions have you seen a good writeup of what followbot does? I'm feeling a bit slow for not understanding its purpose.
@inkdroid federated timeline is based on follows between instances so the more follows between instances the more "complete" a federated timeline becomes. I think that is a bad idea, I like a relatively slow growing network.
@inkdroid @tinysubversions I know you mean you'd prefer the GROWTH were slow, but I'm pretty sure the process of harvesting content this way is pretty slow...
