@obra Not sure the second graph is actual data from California. Do you have a source for that?
This source suggests a much smaller increase in confirmed infections and a decrease in actual/estimated infections and deaths. https://covid19.healthdata.org/united-states-of-america/california
On paper California has (or had) quite strong lockdown rules (and mobility is still decreased a lot), but infections did not go down much. Does anyone understand why. Air conditioning?
