The CW feature on Mastodon makes it basically THE BEST social media platform for talking about movies and TV and not spoiling anyone.
If you have friends who complain about having to leave social media when a new movie comes out, perhaps this feature could convince them to try masto.
@Magess Maybe so, but last Thursday someone did an un-tagged ruin on Mastodon's global feed pretty much before I could've even potentially seen it.
@ocdtrekkie That's true. Having the feature is a big step up. Enforcing it through culture and admin action is another thing.
The nature of the federated timeline also decreases impact of bad actors, I think. Since it can only spread so far.
